The output is dynamic and will only return a set of default fields, plus any additional fields that are requested. It can often be associated with a neighborhood or sector.\n| DependentThoroughfare | The dependent thoroughfare is a second thoroughfare that is required to narrow down the final address. This is rarely used.\n| DependentThoroughfareLeadingType | Dependent thoroughfare type that is placed before the dependent thoroughfare. This value is a part of the DependentThoroughfare field.\n| DependentThoroughfareName | Dependent thoroughfare name. This value is a part of the DependentThoroughfare field.\n| DependentThoroughfarePostDirection | Directional information placed after the dependent thoroughfare. It is extremely rarely used.\n| SubPremises | Subpremises are individual units with their own addresses inside a building.\n| SubPremisesNumber | Parsed number from the SubPremises field.\n| SubPremisesType | Parsed type from the SubPermises field.\n| Thoroughfare | This is a part of the address lines and contains all the sub-elements of the thoroughfare like trailing type, thoroughfare name, pre direction, post direction, etc.\n| ThoroughfareLeadingType | Thoroughfare type that is placed before the thoroughfare. This value is a part of the Thoroughfare field.\n| ThoroughfareName | Thoroughfare name. This value is a part of the Thoroughfare field.\n| ThoroughfarePostDirection | Directional information placed after the thoroughfare. This value is a part of the Thoroughfare field.\n\n### Firmographics Group\n\n| Column Name | Description\n| - | -\n| IncorporationDate | The year the business was incorporated (started).\n| SICCode1 | 6 digit SIC code for the primary line of business\n| SICCode2 | Second SIC code.\n| SICCode3 | Third SIC code.\n| SICCode4 | Fourth SIC code.\n| SICDescription1 | First SIC Code Description\n| SICDescription2 | Second SIC Code Description\n| SICDescription3 | Third SIC Code Description\n| SICDescription4 | Fourth SIC Code Description\n\n### Geocode Group\n\n| Column Name | Description\n| - | -\n| Latitude | Geographic Coordinate\n| Longitude | Geographic Coordinate\n\n## License Key\nYou should have been provided an encrypted and unique License Key from Melissa. This is necessary for including with each request to the Business Coder UK Cloud Service. This value should be put into the License Key element in each Cloud service request.\nIf you do not have a License Key, please contact your Melissa sales representative at 1-800-MELISSA (1-800-635-4772).\n\n## Single vs. Batch\nMelissa cloud services are capable of both single record real-time processing and batch processing. The difference is simply in the number of records sent in each request. Melissa cloud services take an array of records. This array can contain anything from one to one hundred records. For a real-time process like a web form entry or a call center application, send in a request with one record. For a batch processing scenario like a database, send requests of up to 100 records until all the records are processed. Note: Make sure each record in the request has a unique Record ID.\n\n## Choosing a Web Service Protocol\nThe Melissa Business Coder UK Cloud Service supports REST and JSON. For the undecided, here are some Pros and Cons of one Web Service protocol over the other.\n\n#### REST\n**_Pros:_** REST is lightweight and relies upon HTTP to do its work. If you don't need a strict API definition, this is the way to go. REST is also format-agnostic so you can use XML or JSON as responses.\n\n**_Cons:_** REST can only be used for sending of single records and doesn’t support strict contracts or more involved security. The Response is a JSON document.\n\n#### JSON\n**_Pros:_** JSON relies on simple object serialization based on JavaScript’s object initialization. It is very simple to use with JavaScript and easily parsed and understood by developers.\n\n**_Cons:_** No support for formal definitions. No namespace support. Not much support in Cloud Service clients with some platforms.\n\n## Basic Order of Operations (Pseudo Code)\n1. Choose JSON or REST service.\n2. Create an instance of the request object.\n3. Populate the request element \"id\" with your License Key.\n4. Add an Address or Address and Company to the “Records” array with anywhere from 1 to 100 records.\n5. Call the method and pass in the request to the service using the WEB endpoint for JSON requests.\n6. Examine and parse the response from the reply object back from the service.\n7. Interpret the results.\n\n## Interpreting Results\nMelissa’s Business Coder UK Cloud service uses Result codes to determine the status of the business.\nThe Business Coder UK Cloud Service use the following Results conventions:\n* Cloud Service Errors: SExx\n* Cloud Transmission Errors: GExx\n* Cloud Transmission Warning: GWxx\n* Address Status Codes: ASxx\n* Address Error Codes: AExx\n* Address Verification Codes: AVxx\n* Geocode Status Codes: GSxx\n* Geocode Error Codes: GExx\n* Business Status Codes: FSxx\n* Business Error Codes: FExx\n\nFor Example: An FS01 Result Code means that a match was found in the data.
